Quality and Environmental Commitment
The Franz Corporation is one of the few plating shops that meet the requirements of ISO TS 16949, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 and has bee certified accordingly. Our quality commitment is driven by two fundamental principles:
- Customer satisfaction and the commitment to orientate ourselves towards our customers requirements.
- Employees must play an active role in the process of continuous quality improvement.
In 1981 the Franz Corporation was the first business to install a Cadmium-Recyclingmachine in Europe, raising the bar on meeting environmental requirements for wastewater reduction and treatment. While revenues doubled in the 80’s, there was a dramatic reduction in wastewater for the same time period. This demonstrated the company’s strong comittment to a safe and clean environment early on. We have been certified for ISO 14001 and strictly implement and inforce environmetal policies.
Our mission is to deliver products and services at desired quality levels with fast turnaround times. We achieve these goals by integrating quality management systems into our processes and generating quality awareness throughout the entire organization.
Our production processes are monitored and controlled using electronic data processing systems, to ensure consistant quality and to identify deviations from set parameters.
Our quality management is focussed on the customer. Each customer has a primary point of contact to discuss the specific requirements for his/her project.
We have fulfilled the quality requirements for the automotive and electronics industry. In 1996, we received a partnership award from HITACHI Semiconductor recognizing Franz Corporation as the best European supplier and giving us preferred supplier standing.
