Hard Chromium Plating of Steel, Aluminium and their Alloys
Irrespective of the material we are able to apply hard chromium layers of up to 1 mm in thickness, even on the most complex shapes and configurations.
The exact roughness values can be achieved by grinding, polishing and matting. The chromium layers achieve up to 1.100 Vickers hardness, and can resist temperatures of up to 400°C, and in some cases even higher temperatures. Measuring results for Ra, Rz and Rt are included with each delivery.
Typical applications for our hard chromium surface are textile machines, diecasting- and moulding machines, paper machines, and machines for the production and handling of bills.
