Electroless Nickel
Nickel plating without the use of electricity (electroless or chemical) is recommended for parts that require exact dimensions and absolute uniform layer thickness. Maximum corrosion protection and wear resistance are the primary benefits provided by this type of plating process.
We have developed a unique process for the electronics industry, which allows us to freely control the solderability that is dependant upon the content level of phosphor in the nickel layer. Electroless nickel plating is a costly process without the ability to recycle or regenerate solutions used in the process. Therefore, we have developed and are using an electroless nickel bath, which can be regenerated on a continuous basis. This way we can reduce associated costs and maintain desired quality levels of the bath and the percentage of phosphorus content in the nickel layer.
